While I may have some minor technical misgivings about this shot, they are pretty much rendered moot by the overall emotion and story told by the colors, the softness, and the subject matter. That said, if pressed, I would say the highlights feel slightly blown out and the image feels slightly colder as a result. The ladybug's shell feels less rich than it could, as do the strawberries. Maybe the overall image could be warmed up slightly to take some of the blue tones out of the reds and make it feel richer and jammier.
I also might like a slightly more considered crop; right now it feels a little tight to the edges without gaining much intimacy. A little more breathing room could make it feel less like an accidental crop and more like a sweet, intimate vignette. The bottom strawberry in particular feels like it's about to be chopped off.
However, as I said, the image tells such a beautiful, warm story that technical concerns are extremely minor.
This is an amazing shot. While part of me wishes the bottle stood out a little more from the soft background, part of me loves the ethereal quality the soft fade gives the whole image. It makes it more dreamlike and draws the focus more to the ladybug. It seems to be the ladybug's dream happening here. Somehow completely personifies the little bug. Beautiful!
