Cool. I love springtails. I have never really been able to find many and certainly not in the last couple of years.

(And I would need a better lens to deal with them!)

It seems that scientists don't want to classify them in this order because there are some characteristics for the insects that the springtails don't have(eg wings).
I also read that springtails existed 400 millions years ago, long time before the insects appear.
